Anthony Whiteman (he/him)




Anthony is an experienced professional choreographer, musical stager, movement director and educator.
As a creative practitioner, it is Anthony’s intention to make work which is ‘fit for purpose’. In focusing on the brief, he produces work which is visually captivating, engaging and tailored specifically for each project and production.
He is highly skilled at creating inventive and engaging movement and dance for plays, musicals and screen projects and has been engaged on various productions on International and ‘virtual’ stages as a creative lead, most notably, the European premier of the UK & Ireland tour of LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE.
He is as invested and interested in a ‘new writing’ as he is on a ‘classic book musical’ or working on location for V.T to camera. Anthony is always professional and works efficiently and effective in fast paced environments.

Anthony was also awarded the Jasnet Bosdag award for choreogrpahy for his work on Damdaki Kemnci and has been nominated for Off West End awrds for his work on Bye Bye Birdie, In the Dead of Night and Legally Blonde.
After a varied and successful career as a performer and dance captain and in commercial musical theatre. He was a cast member of iconic productions including Cats, My Fair Lady, Top Hat & Billy Elliot amongst others. He then began the switch to the creative side of the industry via a period of resident, assisting and associate work.
Anthony is fortunate enough to have worked with, and been able to take direct influence from industry leaders including Bill Deamer, Peter Darling, Arlene Philips, Ellen Kane and assisted Dame Gillian Lynne, during his time at Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Anthony has worked with both adult and juvenile performers in a professional capacity. He is also in demand as an educator, and can be found working in higher education institutions and conservatiores across the country.
Anthony is keen to connect and meet with new people outside of his immediate network to build exciting and vibrant working relationships. It’s Anthony’s belief that by collaborating with fellow creatives, performers, and other members of the team, that a project is a success, and furthermore a positive and productive environment to work in.
